This job assists the Invasive Cardiologist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, demonstrating leadership in collaboration with co-workers to achieve efficient and cost-effective functioning of the department.
Essential responsibilities include integrating knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular physiology, maintaining expertise in radiographic imagery techniques, orienting inexperienced staff, anticipating adverse reactions, and completing required documentation.
Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years' experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology, relevant certifications, ACLS, CPR, and required background clearances.
