Job Summary
The Transportation Worker II position involves a diverse range of progressively complex maintenance activities related to the preventive maintenance, repair, and construction of state-maintained roadways and roadside infrastructure.
Participation in emergency response operations such as traffic accident cleanup, snow and ice removal, hurricane recovery, and other urgent situations as they arise is required.
Work may involve repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds and requires the physical ability to climb, bend, traverse steep and uneven terrain, and work in extreme temperature conditions.
