Job Summary

  • Manages the University of Arkansas’ classified research security program, ensuring compliance with NISPOM/32 CFR §117 and working closely with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to university leadership, faculty, staff, and students regarding classified operations, foreign influence, and research security.
  • Conducts risk assessments for international agreements and foreign national hires, develops self-inspection and OPSEC programs, and investigates security incidents.

Key Requirements

  • U.S. citizen
  • Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
  • Completion of DCSA Facility Security Officer Course
  • Master's degree OR 8+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years relevant experience
