The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in carpentry or maintenance, familiarity with tools, and a passion for customer service within a multicultural environment

Job Summary

  • The Assistant Carpenter is to assist with any kind of carpentry work and required deck work in accordance with the instructions from his superiors.
  • The incumbent must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment and adjust to changes in schedules, assignments and deadlines.
  • They shall have training in Fire Fighting, Safety matters and Damage Control and be familiar with all the Emergency Codes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year prior experience as an Assistant Carpenter
  • Two years of prior experience as a maintenance worker
  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge and experience using assorted hand tools and power tools
  • Basic to Intermediate level English verbal and writing skills
  • Highschool diploma or foreign equivalent
  • Position-specific STCW training
