  • The work will involve operation of an IMAP vehicle, traffic control deployments, route surveillance, incident response, removal of disabled and abandoned vehicles, incident/congestion management, and performing routine motorist assistance duties and debris removal to facilitate traffic flow and minimize congestion.
  • This role requires the ability to work independently, think critically, prioritize, and control situations, and make decisions quickly under extreme pressure or in a hazardous environment.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of related experience
  • Completion of IMAP Driver Training
  • Current NCDOT IMAP Certification
  • Valid Driver's License preferred
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
