Key Requirements
Graduate of Canadian University Midwifery education program or equivalent
Registration eligibility with Midwifery Regulatory Council of Nova Scotia
Current CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) with intubation, and Obstetrical Emergency Skills certification
Recent midwifery practice experience meeting regulatory standards
Valid Nova Scotia class 5 driver’s license and dependable vehicle
Liability insurance eligibility and recent criminal record check with vulnerable sector and child abuse registry
Physical ability to perform duties under varying conditions
