Gotion Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Controls Engineer for their new manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the optimization and troubleshooting of automation and control systems, specifically in the production of lithium batteries, while mentoring junior engineers

Job Summary

  • Lead troubleshooting, stabilization, and optimization of automation and control systems for the Pack & Module production line.
  • Reprogram, tune, and standardize PLC logic, primarily Siemens S7-1500 / TIA Portal, and support new equipment integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to internal Controls Engineers and Technicians, coaching and elevating team capability.
