Job Summary

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Flex nurses will generally work 24 hours per week but may be required to flex their hours either up 12 hours or down 12 hours within a week based on hospital needs.
  • This position offers health and dental benefits consistent with regularly scheduled 30-hour nurses despite working fewer hours.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
  • Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • One year medical/surgical nursing experience
  • AHA ACLS certification within 6 months
  • De-escalation training within 60 days
