Job Summary

  • The HRPP Manager is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the operational excellence and strategic growth of the human subjects research oversight framework at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
  • The Manager will initially serve as the primary operational engine for the office, with the immediate priority of clearing existing backlogs by serving as the primary Exempt Reviewer and lead Pre-Reviewer for all Greater than Minimal Risk and Expedited protocols.
  • As internal efficiencies and turnaround times improve, the role will pivot toward high-level supervision, staff mentorship, and the expansion of the HRPP’s foundational infrastructure, spearheading the development of all HRPP SOPs and policies to drive AAHRPP accreditation readiness.

Salary

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in IRB administration
  • Expert knowledge of federal regulations (45 CFR 46, 21 CFR 50, 56)
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or Certified IRB Manager (CIM) credential
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a lead role
  • Experience with electronic IRB submission systems
