The Patient Care Associate assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, conscientious patient care environment.
PCAs will float between two units, Bigelow 9 General Medicine, and Bigelow 13 RACU, providing focused pulmonary care and general medical diagnoses support.
The role offers shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekends, along with comprehensive benefits including travel discounts and MBTA subsidies.

Must-have
Recent clinical patient care experience or training
Ability to float between General Medicine and RACU units
Monitoring and reading vital signs
Drawing blood (phlebotomy) skills
Obtaining EKGs for patients
Nice-to-have
Enrolled in Nursing or Pre-Med undergraduate program
Experience as a Mental Health Technician or EMT
Commitment to respectful communication and confidentiality
Willingness to work rotational holiday and weekend schedules
Interest in pulmonary care and general medical diagnoses
Key Requirements
Must have recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care
Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT program
Candidate enrolled in Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed
Availability for Day, Evening, Night, Rotational holiday, and weekend shifts
