Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, perform technical and clinical duties for the hospital-wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program.
Procure and distribute medication orders, fill routine orders for unit dose and prepackaged pharmaceuticals, and prepare intravenous medications.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, assist in ordering and storing pharmaceuticals, and contribute to the effective operation of the department through various computer functions and administrative tasks.
