  • The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program (if applicable) for the nursing assistants as required by regulations.
  • Coordinate infection control surveillance program and supervise staff, including taking or assisting with appropriate disciplinary measures.
  • Provide direct resident/patient care and participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
