Job Summary
The NICU Clinical Assistant provides patient support in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, under the supervision and delegation of the Manager, Charge Nurse, Registered Nurse, and clinical dietician.
In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the NICU Clinical Assistant is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, preparation and delivery of human milk and specialized enteral formulas as ordered in the electronic medical record (EMR).
