Job Summary
You will be a key member of our Transmission & Distribution Overhead Lines team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging OHL design projects.
Your primary focus will be to provide project technical support for the delivery of our major transmission projects, encompassing overhead transmission lines up to 400kV.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
Prepare wire clearance diagrams
Generate detailed insulator set drawings
Integrate survey data, LiDAR/point clouds
Adherence to NG/ET/SR_135 Drawings Management Process
Interpret engineering calculations for drawings
Nice-to-have
Attention to detail and accuracy
Quality driven and meticulous
Strong communication and coordination skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and pioneering mindset
Key Requirements
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
CAD certification beneficial
CAD experience in power transmission sector
Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley tools
Strong experience with PLS-CADD
Experience with 132kV, 275kV, and/or 400kV OHL projects
Prior experience under National Grid or DNO standards
Ability to work with Georeferenced point clouds, LiDAR, GIS data
