Job Summary

  • As the Engineering Wind Technician UFS (Universal Fleet Solutions) – Travel (United States), you will work with Resource Managers, Site Leadership, and Engineering to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements which includes repairs to any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE Vernova wind turbine generators across North America.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines including perform diagnostic analysis and perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct wind turbine malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Senior Wind Technician
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of personnel
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel 100% of time
  • Handle repetitive weight - 50 lbs and climb towers up to 300 feet daily
  • Meet specified manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300lbs including required climbing gear
