Job Summary

  • This position supports the department’s curricular and community-engaged mission by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Communication, Crisis Communication, Leadership, Training & Development, and Research Methods.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive communication orientation, a collaborative student-centered working style, and a commitment to applied scholarship consistent with the department’s mission of helping individuals and organizations co-create better social worlds.
  • The position includes maintaining an active research agenda; engaging in community-based or organizational partnerships that connect crisis and organizational communication to real-world practice; advising and mentoring students; and serving on departmental, college, university, and community committees.
