The Design Engineer will develop detail part drawings and bill of materials, interact with service centers and customers, and provide technical support to other departments in the Timken Gears and Services' network under the supervision and guidance of the Engineering Manager.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
3D modeling with CAD software
Gear drive component design
Manufacturing drawing checking
Knowledge of AGMA, API, MIL specs
Technical support across departments
Nice-to-have
Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred
Experience with Industrial or Marine applications
Collaboration with service centers and customers
Development of tools for effectiveness
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 1 year mechanical drives design experience
Authorized to work in the US
Eligible for US export license authorizations
