Must-have
reading and interpreting design blueprints
preparing fabrication and welding
gas and electric welding in all positions
uses cutting and burning equipment
working knowledge of welding properties
safety-conscious and safety-oriented

Key Requirements
Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of welding experience (D1.1)
Work experience as a metal fabricator
Professional certification from the American Welding Society (AWS)
Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and carbon air arc gouging
Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment
