The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and project teams Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues Review and approve project plans, drawings, and method statements Implement quality control procedures and ensure workmanship standards Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management Manage risk, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 8–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations (Singapore preferred) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Preferred SkillsProject planning and scheduling Cost control and budgeting Contract administration Risk management Team leadership and mentoring Negotiation and conflict resolution
