Job Summary

  • The technical coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the flow of work within the designated area so that quality and efficiency is maintained at the highest level.
  • The laboratory must have one or more technical coordinators who, under the direction of the Manager and Laboratory Director, provide day-to-day supervision of testing personnel and reporting of test results.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with internship or equivalent
  • Minimum four years’ experience as Medical Technologist
  • California license with ASCP certification preferred
  • CLIA General Supervisor for High Complex Testing
  • Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
