Job Summary

• The Chief Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of all equipment by directing maintenance activities, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• This focus on maximizing equipment uptime and safety extends to reporting directly to the Preventive Maintenance Manager, performing duties in mechanical equipment maintenance and repair, parts ordering, and administering the preventative maintenance system (PMS).
• The employee must adhere to all applicable policies, processes, procedures, instructions, and controls, so that work is carried out in a consistent, best-in-class, safe, secure, and sustainable manner.
