This role requires managing a team of meteorologists while developing weather graphics and maintaining high standards of accuracy and public trust.
Candidates must be available for breaking weather situations including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous coverage.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or related field
Minimum 3 years on-air meteorology experience
Knowledge of NOAA products including NWS SPC NHC WPC
Expertise in severe weather coverage and radar interpretation
Strong digital and social media communication skills
Nice-to-have
AMS and/or NWA Seal certification preferred
Experience with Baron's Lynx graphics system
Community engagement and public safety initiative participation
Leadership and mentorship capabilities for weather teams
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science
Minimum 3 years on-air experience with 1 year leadership
