** Mericalherbs is seeking an Associate Director for Business Development and Licensing in Discovery Transactions, based either in Rahway, NJ, or West Point, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, focusing on negotiating and managing external scientific partnerships. **

Job Summary

  • The Associate Director/ Director, Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) Discovery Transactions will be responsible for overseeing and negotiating a broad spectrum of transactions supporting the company's Research Laboratories in the discovery and preclinical stage.
  • Primary responsibilities include collaborating with research scientists, management, legal, and external partners to negotiate material transfers, licenses, evaluations, consortia, research collaborations, and other agreements.
  • The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable, and offered a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision healthcare, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.
