  • The Avionics Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, or repairing avionics equipment such as radar and navigation systems assigned to CBP aircraft.
  • Candidates must possess a high degree of knowledge in aircraft electrical/avionics systems and be able to solve complex problems by interpreting technical documents.
  • This role requires the ability to work in various environments ranging from standard hangars to flight lines with exposure to inclement weather and noise hazards.

Key Requirements

  • Five years of aircraft avionics/electrical experience
  • Valid motor vehicle driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US Citizenship required for clearance
  • Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance
