Job Summary

  • The Director of Safety serves as the senior operational leader responsible for developing and driving the strategic vision, culture, and execution of safety programs across the Greystar Management Services business.
  • This role partners with Risk Management, Global Safety & Security, Operations, Maintenance, and other Greystar business units to ensure that every site team member is equipped with the tools, processes, training, and support necessary to work safely and effectively each day.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Risk Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive safety leadership experience
  • 5+ years of multi-site leadership experience
  • Experience supporting field operations, maintenance, or property management environments strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement safety programs for field and office environments
  • Proven ability to influence leaders at all levels
