The Finance Officer is responsible for executing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, WVI standards, and donor requirements, while maintaining financial integrity in emergency response settings.
Key responsibilities include accounting compliance and monitoring, audit preparation and support, and local (government) reporting to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting.
This role requires a willingness to be deployed on short notice to emergency settings with limited resources, often working in difficult conditions and exceeding standard work hours.
