Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist functions as an integral member of a team of care providers on a patient care unit who reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm and mutual respect.
The ST works under the general supervision of the Perioperative Manager and the direct supervision of the PCC-RN, performing technical skills related to intraoperative patient care, using established nursing policies and procedures.
The ST performs direct and indirect perioperative nursing tasks for pediatric and adult patients having surgical and endoscopy procedures.
