Job Summary
The Staff Manufacturing Test Engineer - SW is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing test software used in high volume production of Generac's solar, storage and home interconnect products.
This role owns test software architecture across PCBA functional test, and EOL systems, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and data integrity.
Candidates will partner with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to ensure Design for Test (DFT) and robust test coverage while continuously improving test uptime, cycle time, and yield.
