This position requires developing and implementing training programs for personnel regarding bloodborne pathogens, TB management, and standard precautions.

Must-have
Current active RN license required
Knowledge of CDC and OSHA regulations
Experience with infectious disease protocols
Ability to conduct infection surveillance
Proficiency in aseptic technique

APIC certification preferred
PCC knowledge preferred
Long-term care facility experience
Strong communication skills
Committee participation experience
Key Requirements
Nursing degree from accredited college or university
2+ years experience preferably in long term care
Current unencumbered active RN license in state
Current CPR certification
Working knowledge of epidemiology and microbiology
