Role Summary You will be responsible for defect reduction, monitoring inline defect performance and end of line yield, as well as leading yield improvement and inspection methodologies excellence. Key Responsibilities Install, qualify and sustain inline inspection and equipment to continually enhance defect detection capabilities Pinpoint potential yield-limiting defect sources and drive defect reduction roadmap for respective technology, program or related modules to improve production yield Utilize statistical process control principles to maintain smooth operation and continually improve to prevent defect induced excursion events Actively collaborate with integration, module engineering teams and suppliers to identify and eliminate defect sources; design and conduct experiments, analyze and extract insightful results from complex data sets to implement effective solutions Responsible to Lead and Train Assistant Engineers to complete daily routine tasks for inline monitoring Regular Customer Engagement meeting to report and drive indices Innovate upon existing workflow and processes to drive excellence in manufacturing practices and automation Education Qualification & Essential Experiences A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field Minimum of at least 5 years of experience in KLA bright field, Darkfield, eBeam (eScan) and defect metrology tools and inline applications of these tools to monitor and detect root causes in a high-volume advanced man
