Job Summary

  • Assists with obstetrical procedures, including cesarean section, vaginal deliveries, vacuum extraction, forceps deliveries, tubal ligations, dilation and curettage (D&C), circumcisions, and emergency, OB- related abdominal hysterectomies.
  • Maintains knowledge of setups for each procedure and scrubs for obstetrical procedures which includes applying aseptic surgical techniques to create/maintain sterile field.
