Penn State University Police and Public Safety Department is offering a paid internship for students during the Fall 2026 semester, providing hands-on experience within a university police setting. Ideal candidates are current students with a minimum GPA of 2.5, aiming to gain exposure to various police operations and specialized units.

Job Summary
The Penn State University Police and Public Safety Department is responsible for protecting and serving more than 100,000 students, employees as well as visitors at our campuses located throughout Pennsylvania.
Interns will be exposed to our specialist units (K9, Criminal Investigations, Drone, Community Oriented Policing (COP) etc), attend court, see behind the scenes at large University events or sporting events as well as seeing the day to day operations within our station and headquarters.
