Job Summary
This position provides oversight and intensive substance abuse case management services including linkage to infectious disease treatment and social services.
The case manager is primarily located in the Meharry Addiction Clinic but must also work in the community to ensure patient follow-through.
The applicant will provide brief counseling in conformance with office-based opioid treatment regulations while maintaining current knowledge of medical care options.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
Comprehensive knowledge of substance abuse treatment
Ability to assess crisis situations and respond appropriately
Maintain client confidentiality in a culturally competent setting
Nice-to-have
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective supervisory skills
PC proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of community resources and housing assistance
Key Requirements
