Job Summary
Administer patient assessments, oversee the assessment process, setting the assessment schedules and assuring that assessments are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and ensure that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another.
Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling in service training classes that provide instructions on “how to do the job,” and ensure a well educated nursing service department.

Key Requirements

Knowledge and skills for age-related resident needs
Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds
