General Motors is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for efficient production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive manufacturing and a strong understanding of engineering principles, specifically in GD&T and assembly processes

Job Summary

  • The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, equipment/tooling alternatives, and sequence and flow of operations for the effective utilization of personnel, material, machines, and facilities necessary for the production of parts and assemblies.
  • Develop and implement sufficiency plans and continuous improvement activities to meet specific uptime, tool cost, quality, and maintainability objectives.
  • Work with Manufacturing and Quality department in problem solving customer issues and developing short term corrective actions as well as long term irreversible solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills
