Job Summary
Assists licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
Performs nonsterile compounding following proper USP standards and sterile IV admixture using proper aseptic technique, where applicable.
Obtains and records initial patient demographic and other required information, performs data entry, insurance verification, label generation, and cashiering.
