Job Summary

  • Prepares and rooms the patient by gathering/documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, and/or medications).
  • Works primarily in clinic patient care environment, responsible for maintaining Epic shared patient lists, billing/insurance coordination, document control/maintenance/scanning, prescription and laboratory orders, prescription test claims, interpreter coordination, and inventory/supply ordering and management.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as Certified Pharmacy Tech preferred
  • High School Graduate
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or Pharmacy Technician Certified (ExCPT)
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician through Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (if working in WI)
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician through Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (if working in IL)
