The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture is seeking a Program Associate for its Irrigation Contest, responsible for implementing irrigation programs and conducting field activities related to irrigation water management. The ideal candidate should have a relevant bachelor's degree and experience in agriculture, particularly in irrigation and machinery
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this individual will be to implement the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Arkansas Irrigation Yield contest, Irrigation school programs, and county irrigation demonstration programs.
Duties include laboratory and field activities in irrigation water management, including repairing and installing irrigation equipment, planting and harvesting crops, and retrieving information from data logging equipment.
The individual will be expected to develop personal relationships with clientele and assist them in learning how to implement IWM practices and tools effectively on their operations.
