Key Requirements
BS with 8 years’ experience, MS with 5 years’ experience or PhD with 2 years’ experience
Professional experience as a software developer or software engineer or verification engineer
Subject to background investigation and Department of War security clearance
Currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States
Understanding of DoW Systems Engineering lifecycle
Familiarity with embedded software/firmware safety standards
Proficiency in C, C++, Ada, VHDL, or Verilog
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems like VxWorks
Experience with embedded software performance tests
