Key Requirements

  • BS with 8 years’ experience, MS with 5 years’ experience or PhD with 2 years’ experience
  • Professional experience as a software developer or software engineer or verification engineer
  • Subject to background investigation and Department of War security clearance
  • Currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States
  • Understanding of DoW Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • Familiarity with embedded software/firmware safety standards
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Ada, VHDL, or Verilog
  • Experience with Real Time Operating Systems like VxWorks
  • Experience with embedded software performance tests
