Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for organizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating statewide educational programs for youth, families and communities, leading to the development of life skills.
  • The Educator will be responsible for providing leadership to develop focused youth development programs in cooperation with colleagues across the state, coordinating 4-H engineering and technology programs and incorporating artificial intelligence (AI).
  • This is a tenure-track faculty position requiring documented accomplishments in research, teaching, and service, with opportunities to secure grants and extramural funding.

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree required
  • Seven to 10 years post undergraduate experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of understanding engineering and technology principles
  • Ability to coordinate volunteer lead support groups
  • Leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent research and teaching skills
  • Experience working with broad youth groups and volunteers
  • Demonstrated successful state, regional and national partnerships
  • Willing to work flexible hours, with some evenings and weekends
  • Willing to travel around state, region, and occasionally the nation
  • Personal transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Subject to a Criminal History Record Check
