Job Summary
Part-time (approx. 10 to 25 hours per week) Science Tutors help students with science disciplines including General Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Anatomy & Physiology.
Tutors support student success by utilizing a personalized approach to help each student gain a deeper understanding of course material, devise effective learning strategies, engage in critical thinking, and acquire additional academic skills.
Tutors are provided with College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training and are expected to obtain certification within one year of employment.
