Job Summary

  • Responsible for the end-to-end oversight of contract execution, ensuring that the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) meets all performance, financial, and compliance benchmarks supporting Final Assembly Line operations within US Manufacturing Site Mobile.
  • The position is accountable for the overall performance and management of the LSP to include all means of managing warehousing operations in on-site and off-site warehousing locations.
  • The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company.

Key Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Logistics
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and six sigma principles
  • Experience managing an external service provider preferred
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of SAP/R3 (Module PP/PM)
  • US citizenship is required
