  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner while preparing meals according to menus and special diets.
  • The role includes supervising dietary staff during the supervisor's absence and assisting with meal service and training.
