Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management of the entire nursing department and staffing levels, including recruiting, hiring, and training nursing staff.
Key duties include developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring resident safety and respect, and coordinating with other departments for excellent resident care.
The role requires active participation in QA, Utilization Review, Patient Care conferences, state surveys, and MDS/care planning coordination.
