Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Degree qualified Civil or Structural Engineer
  • Leading teams in Front-End Engineering design
  • Experience with EHV substation projects up to 400kV
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Steel and reinforced concrete design experience

Nice-to-have

  • Chartered Engineer status with ICE or IStructE
  • Discharging Principal Designer duties under CDM2015
  • Coaching and developing junior engineers
  • Flexible remote working policies
  • Collaborative multi-disciplinary environment

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree (MEng/MSc) in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer membership desirable
  • BP141 / TP141 HV Substation qualification or equivalent knowledge
  • LCDAE or CDAE experience or knowledge required
  • UK residency proof of 5 years potentially required for security clearance
