The position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hospice care, providing direct patient care in various settings under RN supervision. Candidates must hold a valid Florida LPN license, possess BLS and IV certifications, and have at least one year of medical-surgical nursing experience, with hospice experience preferred

Job Summary

  • The Field Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care to hospice patients in a variety of settings and levels of care under the direct supervision of an RN.
  • Responsibilities include providing care to the terminally ill patient, reinforcing patient and family training and education, performing patient assessment and documentation, and participating in the comprehensive Interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
  • All services will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as assigned to a variety of teams and duties, including nights and weekends, with on-call rotations as assigned.
