The cook is responsible for managing and operating the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor, reporting directly to them.
Essential duties include maintaining a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary kitchen environment, preparing a variety of foods in large quantities, and accurately preparing special diets.
The role requires the ability to cooperate with personnel in all departments, assist with serving meals, clean cooking and serving areas, and report resident care concerns.
