Job Summary
The Assistant Controller supports the financial management and oversight of nearly 3,800 Foundation funds, including approximately 1,100 endowment funds totaling more than $400 million.
Responsibilities include overseeing and performing bank, investment, gift, and expense reconciliations; supporting monthly and year-end close processes; and coordinating with gift processing staff to ensure monthly gift activity is completed and recorded accurately.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of related professional work experience
Master's Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience
Progressively responsible experience in accounting or financial management
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
CPA (preferred)
Governmental or nonprofit fund accounting experience
Experience supporting audits and preparing schedules
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GASB standards
Experience working with restricted funds, endowments, or donor-designated funds
