Job Summary

  • As our new Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drug (MH&AOD) Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to program participants, enabling them, their families, and carers to address psychosocial, emotional, and alcohol and other drug-related needs.
  • We are looking for new team members with availability to join us 7 days a fortnight, Monday through to Sunday, across a rotating roster inclusive of morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts as well as public holidays from 11am – 7pm.
  • Wellways are a team of approximately 2000 staff and 150 volunteers across 93 sites providing a range of programs, services and supports to people right across Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania.

Salary

Base: $44.58 – 47.97 phr (SCHADS Level 4B); Bonus/Equity: Not specified; Benefits: Leave loading + Super + Salary packaging

Key Requirements

  • Relevant degree and experience or Associate Diploma with substantial experience
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
