Canonical UK Ltd is seeking a Staff Security Operations Engineer to join their new team focused on enhancing the security of both their infrastructure and the broader open-source ecosystem. The role calls for a range of experience levels, from those with deep expertise in cybersecurity to exceptional candidates with strong academic backgrounds and personal interest in the field

Job Summary

  • The Security Operations (SecOps) team is responsible for design, implementation and evolution of Canonical security practices, techniques, tools, systems and policies.
  • They design and implement technical security controls that ensure security threats are automatically identified, contained and remediated.
  • We are looking for a range of experience in these positions - at the high end we are looking for deep experience defending highly contested critical assets and high-value cyber targets against advanced persistent threats and state-level actors.
